This is because they are not removed from your computer until you install a new certificate. That said, if you use the 'Recover' feature in the Certmgr.msc, you will end up with a certificate that is once again trusted and your computer is back to normal. However, no, they will not be re-signed. The reason for this is that if you re-sign them with a different certificate, the digital signature will only check the newly signed certificate and you will be able to tell that the certificate has been revoked, since you didn't sign it.
